Teardrop Trip to Bull Shoals-White River State Park

For our first trip this year, we took the teardrop trailer to camp at Bull Shoals – White River State Park, April 12-14. There was a Natural State Tear Jerkers gathering there, and we saw many cool teardrops and met new friends. It was a great getaway.

We are slowly adding themed decor to the trailer. Sharon made curtains and window coverings for this trip. Eventually, we hope to have an “unveiling” and do a walk through of the trailer.

It rained half the time, so it was a good test for the shelter add-on. I still need to do some more seam sealing.

It was also fun to see the park from the tourists viewpoint, as I have often guided through that section of river, and saw some guide friends guiding in the rain, while I relaxed and talked to a gentleman from Wisconsin about smallmouth fishing.

We have tent camped at the park many years ago, so it’s not a new park for us, but new to us with the RV.

Enjoy,

Scott
