Kayaking the Upper Pomme de Terre River

To celebrate a beautiful February Day in 2017, my dear friend, Karen & I hop in our kayaks and do a 6.9 mile float on the upper Pomme de Terre River, launching at the outlet park at the dam and taking out at the bridge in Hermitage. It was an easy float except the river was low and we hit lots of rocks. We saw geese, ducks, an otter, and lots of fish! We laughed the whole way!
“I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land…
Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!”
Psalm 143:5-6, 11

Amen! So be it!
